This is one of my kaleidoscopic abstracts using photos from our garden. This one uses a Gloriosa Lily, one of my favorite blooming vines, and I was inspired by these elegant damask wallpapers that I came across during research for this work. For this piece I wanted to create an elaborate and complex work, one that evokes richness and has depth …a work that would work well in any type of setting, be it corporate, domestic or palatial. My creation process includes the use of various software programs using custom filters and final refinements are done in Photoshop.
This piece would work well on all mediums offered on my website. For a more modern or high-tech look, I’d recommend the high-gloss metal print that is lightweight but strong, printed on aluminum, and is ready to hang with no need for a frame. Alternately, any of the fine art papers offered would pick up the rich detail in this type of piece, the variations in these papers relate to smoothness, but all print beautifully and are archival in quality. Frames are available through my site for these prints, or you can order the print-only and frame yourself. This piece would look equally strong as a wrapped canvas, another ready to hang option that is offered.
